Tyler Magic League

The one stop shop on the web for playing magic the gathering in tyler texas has to be Tyler Magic League These guys have a really friendly environment for play and are not sticklers on certain things that a lot of card shops are. They don’t have a permanent facility to sanction these tournaments yet, but the route they are going they will have it in no time. The league has a lot of really friendly people as I was able to connect with them right from the start.

As I have hinted at before, this league is going to become the best place in Tyler to play magic. I can’t wait to go back and play next sunday after church and converse with these guys and have a good ole’ game of magic.

Three Letter Domains Website

Once again, while surfing today I found another cool website. The website is http://www.3ld.biz/ It offers free lists of available 3 letter domains, downloadable and viewable online! I stayed on the site for a while looking for a cool one to register, then I contacted the administrator to get him to add a new extension for me and he did it in a few minutes. It’s a great site and I would recommend it to anyone!

Easy to Use No Filter Proxy

Today I stumbled across a neat site that will allow you to view websites that some places block for odd reasons. Like, I’ve been to hotels before where they blocked my website, and Facebook among many others. The site helps you get around these kinds of filters they have set up, essentially making it a no filter proxy. I think this website will stay up and not shut down like most of the other proxy websites I’ve been to. Be sure to send it to all of your friends so they will know about it too!

Weekend Review

I had a chance to play golf on Friday for the first time this year. I didn’t play very well, but I guess I can’t expect much after not being on the turf in forever! It was quite an adventure rolling around in the little cart and trying to beat everyone from church in a game with a little white ball and some clubs. I absolutely stunk at driving the ball down the course, I ended up using a putter so I could get a better wack at it! During lunch we sat under a big oak tree and had a small bible study while we ate our sandwiches. Some of the youth were not to enthused by doing this outside of church, but I think it was good for them. Any chance we get to teach the young ones about the bible and how to study it, is time well spent. In the photo you can see how close I got on a 2 par hole. I barely missed it. I wish you could blow on the ball to get it to go in the hole. There is no way that ball could have just stopped right there! I tapped it with the putter and missed par, that was the most undelightful shot I had made all day. Next time I will try to hit the ball a little harder, if there is a next time!
